<br /> Dozens of protesters squared off against supporters of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Sacramento Wednesday as the presumptive Republican nominee for president was set to hold a rally in the city’s International Jet Center. Demonstrators were carrying banners and shouting slogans and personally confronted Trump supporters. Although some shouting matches got intense, no violence occurred.<br />

<br /> Politico reports that when Carl Higbie’s degrading comments about African Americans, women, gays, and Muslims surfaced in January, he resigned from his job in the Trump administration. Yet just two months later, the former Navy SEAL landed at the pro-Trump group America First Policies. He earns roughly the same amount as his White House salary.<br />Higbie worked on advocacy issues and tax events for America First. He said he never intended to stay at the group forever. <br />

Vanessa Haynes - Reflections In A Broken Mirror<br /><br />Vanessa Haynes is a London based singer who's been on the scene for 10 years. Her solo album Stay With Me has received rave reviews from the industry, and produced singles Embrace and I Wonder. In 2008 Vanessa became backing vocalist to the Legend Van Morrison performing around the world with him until October 2009. She has worked and recorded with the likes of Billy Ocean, Chaka Khan, LuLu, Anastacia, Leon Ware, and Mario Biondi. She became one of the lead singers of the Internationally acclaimed UK Jazz/Funk band INCOGNITO in 2008, touring Japan with Incognito featuring the fantastic Jocelyn Brown. In 2012 she toured with incognito and a released a new album with the band Surreal. This song is Ian Levine's tribute to when his first day he walked into a New York disco in 1975, he wanted to recapture that sound.
