we are wondering where the hours flew, <br />though many have passed and changed your face <br />and your laugh, <br />I am still in the same house, <br />how you move with such grace and efficiency <br /> <br />my sister, <br />in the sense that you still call <br />me without reason, <br />I do sit at desks and cars and <br />pray for all of you <br />and though you’ve believed me godless <br />have faith in this: I do love you <br /> <br />when the shields falter, recoil and retract <br />into the doorways I wandered when I could <br />not speak my own name, <br />I promise <br />I will finally speak your's aloud<br /><br />E.D.
